The newest mosaic in our gallery! I started this piece toward the end of last year, and finished April 2020. So much inspiration came from a sunset watch I took with my wife on our trip to Santa Fe, NM in early January 2020.
Each piece of wood in this wall hanging comes from cut offs (scraps) from other projects and products and/or reclaimed from other sources - the golden hues come from pine, plywood and cherry. The dark browns are oak scraps. The "patina" white bits are shiplap scraps from a retail display.
Total measurements are approximately 2 ft x 4 ft, and comes ready to hang with hardware installed for easy wall mount. The hanging is about 20lbs, so would require a wall anchor or wall stud to hang from.
