Classes!
We offer monthly hand building ceramic classes and plant workshops!
For ceramics classes and plant workshops, everything you will need is provided (clay, tools, plants, etc).
In our ceramics classes you will learn how to work with clay (rolling out, pinching), learn how to attach details (using scoring and slip). You also have a rainbow of glaze options we can use on greenware (clay that has not been fired). Alternatively, you can elect to come back to glaze after we bisque fire your work (that we will glaze fire for you). Set monthly classes are listed below. We can also book private classes for groups of 2-6 (great for girls night/birthdays/date nights).

- March 25th - 4in pot ceramics class (2pm)
- May 2nd - Free Community (all age) craft - make and take a bird themed wind chime
- May 9th - Plant mounting workshop
- May 16th - 4in pot ceramics class (2pm and 6pm)
- June 6th - Free Community (all age) craft - make and take spin art
- June 13th - 4in pot ceramics class (2om and 6pm)
- June 22st - Play with Legos in the courtyard with Dad (or Father-Figure) - all day, free.
For build nights, you get to pick out a small plant, a small hanger and make your clay piece. Classes are limited to 6 people (we have a very small shop). To book, just reach out via email or call/text: hello@horsemenco.com or (512) 237-7570. Each class will run about 2-4hrs. You'll leave with your plant and hanger. Ceramic pieces are generally ready for pick up 2wks later (it largely depends on how long drying time takes).
For the mini ceramics classes - you'll learn how to roll out slabs of clay and create ceramic necklaces or earrings! These classes run between 1-2 hours. Your creations will be returned to you after they are fired - usually about 2wks turnaround.
